Land records to be digitised in 6 months: Chairman CDA

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Amer Ali Ahmed has said that lands records of the area falling within the remits of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) will be digitised within the next six months.

This was said during a briefing on the federal capital’s development projects and provision of various facilities for the citizens.

Earlier this month, a Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) was signed between CDA and Survey of Pakistan (SoP) to digitise the land records of Islamabad.

The subsequent collection of data is not only expected to help the civic authority settle property disputes, but is also considered a vital tool that will aid CDA in planning and development of Islamabad in various mega projects.
